New Hampshire doesn't have an emissions test

New Hampshire paused its plug-in emissions test from January 31, 2026, until further notice.

There's nothing to pass for registration. Athena OBD still tells you why the check engine light is on, so small problems don't become big ones. Moving to a state that tests? Check that state's page.
